专访上海五角场凯悦酒店总经理梁建邦先生
1. 自您以集团培训生的身份进入香港君悦酒店，便一直在凯悦酒店集团任职，是什么样的企业文化，吸引您一直留在这里呢？
我和凯悦有很奇妙的缘份，我的父亲就曾经就职于台北的凯悦酒店。服务于凯悦酒店集团是一件令人兴奋、前景光明又非常惬意的事情，随着公司持续在亚太及大陆地区快速扩展，为个人成长和职业发展提供了无限的机遇。就本人来说，加入凯悦酒店集团23年以来，曾先后在上海、北京、宁波、东莞、成都、香港等地的君悦、柏悦和凯悦品牌工作，通过凯悦集团提供的的各种培训、指导、历练与激励，让我能够得以成长与发展。在凯悦我也有机会结交了很多志同道合的好朋友，这也是我人生中一笔巨大的财富。
2. 酒店的发展和成功离不开优秀团队的优质服务，您觉得需要具备哪些素质才能成为优秀的团队？贵酒店的团队服务理念又是什么呢？
我有一条“BAR酒吧”原理：指得是“平衡”“感恩”“尊重”。平衡我们的工作与生活，在工作生活中学会感恩，尊重不同个体不同的需求。它引领着我们的行为，并能促进人人参与共建良好的工作环境，让我们的员工能与同事互助互勉，一同发挥自己的最大潜力。
3. 贵酒店的餐饮一向被人称道，适合各种客人口味与场合需求。您在餐饮部也有多年的经验，可以跟我们分享下贵酒店的餐饮特色吗？

上海五角场凯悦酒店目前是北上海地区最新的国际品牌酒店。随着杨浦区政府对五角场地区、新江湾城及北外滩的重点开发，这将对酒店未来的发展无限利好。
上海五角场凯悦酒店位于合生国际广场内，地理位置优越。合生国际广场是五角场地区全新地标，由5A级办公楼、精品购物商厦和配套的餐饮娱乐场所构成。酒店与商场会有周期性的联合品牌活动日以吸引并丰富周边居民的节假日生活。
5. 您曾在数家凯悦酒店担任要职，都取得了较高的成绩，对上海五角场凯悦，您有怎样的期待呢？想要达到什么样的目标呢？
我们核心业务的重点是位于创智天地的那些国际跨国公司、周围的大学教育部门、贸易、医药、物流、运输和制造行业。我们将继续拓展周边地区，如宝山区, 虹口区, 普陀区、外高桥, 乃至陆家嘴及市中心的会议会展业务。
我们的目标是提供一站式贴心服务为客人呈现至臻宴会，唯美婚典，商务及休闲旅行的体验。
1. You joined Grand Hyatt Hong Kong as a group trainee, and since then you have been working for Hyatt Hotels Corporation all the years, and you have risen at the top of the hotel hierarchy now as the general manager. What kind of corporate culture does Hyatt have that made you who you are and empowered you all the way? And what retains you?
I have a wonderful history and following with the Hyatt family, my dad was also working at the Hyatt in Taipei. Working with Hyatt has been exciting, promising and fulfilling, as the company continues to rapidly expand within Asia Pacific and mainland China. This in turn has opened up countless opportunities for personal growth and career development. Personally, having worked for Hyatt for over 23 years, I have experienced the Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt and Hyatt Regency brands at Shanghai, Beijing, Ningbo, Dongguan, Hong Kong and have been through tremendous stages of growth that have brought me to where I am today, which I believe no other company could have provided. The training, guidance, coaching and mentoring received during various stages of supervisory and management roles has been a treasurable asset which makes us better prepared and confident in taking leading roles. In the Hyatt, I also have the opportunity to make a lot of like-minded friends, this is also a huge treasure in my life.
2. A hotel’s sustainable success is largely due to the fact whether it has an excellent team. In your opinion, what it takes to be an excellent and winning team? And what is your team’s service concept?
I have a principle: "BAR" is referring to "Balance" "Appreciation" and "Respect". Balance our work and life, learn to be grateful, respect for different individual needs. It shapes our behavior, making every associate involved build a good working environment, so that they can help and encourage each other, working together to maximize potential.

And we know you have many years experience in hotel Food & Beverage Department. Can you disclose to us how you enhanced your guests dining experiences?

Conveniently located beside the lobby and extending into the courtyard, Market Café celebrates the joy of fresh & seasonal food and relaxed dining with friends, family and colleagues. Offering guests the ultimate in convenience and choice, the showpiece restaurant serves an extensive buffet selection during breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus an all-day à la carte menu of Asian, Western and Chinese cuisine.
Accessed through the grand doors adjacent to the Sky Lobby, The Lounge is a welcoming setting for relaxing, connecting and meeting during the day and evening. 8-meters height ceilings with large picture windows and soaring contemporary oriental screens give The Lounge a dramatic sense of occasion.
Designer leather armchairs arranged on different levels create intimate private areas for informal business meetings, light meals and relaxation while retaining a vibrant atmosphere. Nature-inspired contemporary artworks and sculptures, ambient lamps and lush foliage enhance the stylish setting. The Lounge will convert to “Bar & Grill” concept at night, presents a variety of grilled steak and seafood, single malt whiskeys and signature cocktails in a contemporary setting with live band entertainment, providing a classy yet relaxed atmosphere for social gatherings.
4. The name “Wujiaochang” literally means “Hub of Five Avenues”, highlighting the hotel’s strategic location enabling guests to easily connect to the very best that Shanghai has to offer. Today as one of Shanghai’s Four Sub City Centers, Wujiaochang stands at the forefront of Shanghai’s impetus spearheading growth across Yangpu District and beyond and ushering in a new era of importance for this crossroads area. What kind of role do you think your hotel can play in the development of Wujiaochang? As the first Hyatt Regency hotel located in the Hopson International Center, what cutting edge advantages your hotel has to remain competitive among other hotels in this area? And what kind of cooperation your hotel has with the Hopson International Center?
The hotel is the newest international branded hotel on the north side of Shanghai. The Yangpu government has indicated its intention to encourage development in Wujiaochang, New Jiangwan Town and the northern Bund area. Therefore, future hotel business should benefit from this development.
Hyatt Regency Shanghai, Wujiaochang is also ideally located in the Hopson International Center, a new tower comprising premium A-grade offices, a luxury shopping mall and dining and entertainment venues. Both the hotel and the shopping center host frequent joint promotion activities to attract and benefit the surrounding citizens.
5. Over the years you worked in several Hyatt hotels and achieved remarkably high performances for these hotels. What is your expectation for Hyatt Regency Shanghai, Wujiaochang? And what targets you want to achieve?
To focus on our core business from the international companies located in Chuangzhitiandi, the educational sector of surrounding universities, IT, trading, pharmaceutical, logistics/transportation and manufacturing industries. We will also capitalize on MICE business from the nearby districts such as BaoShan, Hongkou, Putuo and Waigaoqiao, Jingqiao and Lujiazui, as well as the city center.
Our target is to become a place to connect in Shanghai for streamlined business and leisure travel, quintessential events and unique weddings.
