After an all-encompassing redevelopment programme spanning four months from August to December 2014, The Langham, Sydney is officially introduced as Australia’s newest and most exclusive luxury hotel.

Upon entering the newly renovated Langham Sydney, guests will be greeted with a fresh space that complements the historical setting of The Rocks district. Positioned next to the famed Observatory Hill, guests may take a short stroll to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge.  Taking full advantage of the ample natural light from the glass atrium on the third level, the lobby features a dramatic ceiling to floor glass entry with white Calacatta marble and an Art Deco-inspired design motif. This dramatic lobby leads through to a central reception desk made of gold leaf crackled porcelain, complete with newly revealed harbour views.

The social hub of The Langham, Sydney is at Palm Court which is adorned in shades of teal and citrus gold. The lounge is bathed in natural light from windows flanked by white plantation shutters looking across colonial rooftops through to Sydney’s Western Harbour. Renowned as the birthplace of the traditional Afternoon Tea experience from its namesake at The Langham, London 150 years ago, Palm Court offers Sydneysiders the Afternoon Tea with Wedgwood experience based on the exclusive partnership of two iconic brands. By evening, Palm Court provides a sophisticated backdrop for the signature Langham cocktail expertly prepared at the bar.

An array of celebrated Australian artworks curated exclusively by Sotheby’s for The Langham, Sydney features throughout the hotel. Notable artists include Sidney Nolan, Andrew Browne, Albert Tucker and Brett Whitley with two dramatic resin pieces by Asher Bilu in the Grand Lobby – all of which were recently in the artists’ home until they were selected for this exclusive collection.

以蓝绿色及橙金色点缀的Palm Court廷廊是与好友品味悠闲的最佳地点。白色百叶窗让天然光线照遍每个角落，窗外的殖民风格建筑及悉尼西部港口景致令人心旷神怡。廷廊亦延续150年前源于伦敦朗廷酒店的经典下午茶传统，与久负盛名的瓷器品牌Wedgwood独家合作，推出Wedgwood朗廷英式下午茶。当夜幕低垂时，宾客还可于瑰丽的廷廊品尝精心调配的特色鸡尾酒。

悉尼朗廷酒店在苏富比拍卖行的协助下，搜罗多件澳洲艺术艺术家的力作，为酒店注入艺术气息。除了Sidney Nolan、Andrew Browne、Albert Tucker及Brett Whitley等为人熟悉的艺术家，富丽堂皇的大堂亦摆放Asher Bilu的两幅树脂画，所有艺术品均直接向艺术家购买，弥足珍贵。
