麦贝丰（Mark S. Bradford）先生于2021年4月被文华东方酒店集团委任为深圳文华东方酒店总经理。这间文华东方酒店拥有178间轩敞客房及套房，8间风格迥异的餐厅和酒吧，久负盛誉的文华东方水疗中心，以及前卫独特的宴会活动空间。

此次，麦贝丰先生将自己多年的酒店管理及筹备开业经验，带来深圳这座中国最新的充满活力的一线城市中，继北京王府井以后为又一家文华东方酒店揭幕。

麦贝丰先生于2001年加入文华东方酒店集团，至今为止在集团服务逾20年。他曾先后担任曼谷文华东方酒店驻店经理及清迈文华东方酒店总经理，以及雅加达文华东方酒店和原马尼拉文华东方酒店的总经理。随后，麦贝丰作为开业总经理任职于拥有63间度假别墅的摩洛哥马拉喀什文华东方酒店。

赴任深圳之前，麦贝丰先生曾任北京王府井文华东方酒店的开业总经理，这家拥有73间客房的精品酒店在中国首都为奢华酒店行业设立了新的标杆，同时屡获殊荣，包括《福布斯旅游指南2021》五星酒店及五星水疗评级。酒店餐厅紫膳及文华扒房+酒吧，连续两年荣获米其林餐盘餐厅美誉。

麦贝丰先生表示很荣幸为集团于繁华都市深圳开设的最新项目掌舵揭幕。“深圳无疑是一个极富活力的目的地。酒店位于城市核心地带的高层塔楼，拥有华美城市景观，我们相信她将为宾客带来奢华时尚的生活方式新体验。”他说道，“我也满怀自豪与热忱地与一个充满激情、以服务至上的团队协作，期待着为宾客奉上文华东方享誉全球的卓越五星级服务。”

从声望卓著的瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院获得酒店管理专业MBA学位后，麦贝丰先生前往巴黎工作。父母是英国人的麦贝丰从小在瑞士长大，在学校说法语，在家则说英语，因此他流利地掌握了这两门语言。作为一名热切的艺术、音乐和文化爱好者，他对中国的当代艺术充满热情。

于北京王府井文华东方酒店任职期间，麦贝丰先生在酒店收集陈列了诸多艺术作品，并定期筹办艺术展览。他常常与宾客分享最新艺术趋势、艺术馆动态，以对中国当代艺术的向往和支持而广为人知。

Mark S. Bradford took the role of General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen in April 2021. It is his second project in China with 178 spacious guest room, 8 exciting dining outlets, several distinctive event spaces, and a renowned Mandarin Oriental Spa.

Mark, who successfully oversaw the launch of the Group’s first hotel in Beijing, has now been given the important role of establishing a new luxury Mandarin Oriental hotel in vibrant Shenzhen, the newest first-tier city in China.

The hotelier has two decades of experience with Mandarin Oriental, initially joining as Hotel Manager with Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, later becoming General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Chiang Mai. Mark was the launch General Manager of the 63-villa resort Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, the Group’s first Morocco property, and has also worked at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta and the former Mandarin Oriental, Manila.

Before the move south to Shenzhen, he was the opening General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Wangfujing, Beijing, a 73- room boutique hotel that set new hospitality standards in China’s capital, receiving accolades galore, including Double Five-Star awards for the hotel and spa from Forbes Travel Guide 2021. The two stylish restaurants, Café Zi and Mandarin Grill + Bar, received The Plate from Beijing Michelin Guide in consecutive years, 2020 and 2021.

Mark worked in Paris after graduating from the prestigious Lausanne Hotel Management School in Switzerland with an MBA in Hotel Management. Raised by British parents in Switzerland, Mark spoke French at school and English at home, and is colloquially fluent in both languages. An avid art, music and culture connoisseur, he is excited at the prospect of exploring Shenzhen’s contemporary art scene and discovering emerging talent.

During his earlier time in Beijing, the hotelier was renowned for passionate support of the contemporary China art scene, with an impressive collection of works arrayed around the hotel, regular special exhibitions and a commitment to introduce guests to art galleries.
