秉承万豪国际集团推出的社会影响力和可持续发展平台‘服务360’的宗旨-致力于创造更多机会来帮助有需要的人, 备受瞩目的2023年万豪国际中国华东区慈善高尔夫赛在上海华丽开杆。万豪国际中国华东区酒店通过本届慈善高尔夫赛共募集了人民币550,000元，所募集的善款将会全部捐献给万豪国际的慈善合作伙伴-姚基金，并用于支持中国偏远乡村地区的教育事业。姚基金是著名前中国篮球运动员姚明于2008年发起并被公众所熟知的慈善公益组织。

      本届慈善高尔夫赛在上海揽海国际高尔夫俱乐部举行，共邀请了120位参赛选手，其中包括众多高尔夫爱好者、商业伙伴、赞助商及万豪国际集团的管理层等。

      自2013年起，万豪国际集团与姚基金合作，共捐赠11所希望小学（其中9所为希望小学模式，2所为小平实验室模式），同时支持乡村地区青少年参与到姚基金希望小学篮球季的活动中，感受体育带来的快乐。姚基金希望小学篮球季覆盖全国30个省3000余所学校，近372万人次的乡村地区青少年从中获益。

      一年一度的万豪慈善高尔夫锦标赛已经发展成为所有高尔夫爱好者不容错过的高球盛会。此次赛事聚集了万豪国际中国华东区50余家万豪酒店，囊括18个品牌。在比赛期间，由华东区20家万豪酒店为参赛者精心打造的 “万豪式“款待，呈现了独具创意及特色的美味之旅，使所有参赛者对于本届慈善高尔夫球赛印象深远。

In line with Marriott International’s social impact and sustainability platform, ‘Serve 360’, Marriott International – East China hosted the highly anticipated 2023 Marriott East China Charity Golf Tournament to empower those in need by creating opportunities. Marriott East China Hotels have raised RMB550, 000 through the Charity Golf that took place in Shanghai. All net proceeds will be donated to Marriott International’s charity partner-Yao Foundation, to support physical education in Chinese rural areas. Yao Foundation is a highly regarded charity organization established in 2008 by the Chinese former basketball player, Yao Ming.

The charity golf tournament took place at the Lanhai International Golf Club Shanghai with the participation of 120 golfers that included many golf enthusiasts, corporate customers, sponsorship partners, and senior executives of Yao Foundation and Marriott International.

Since 2013, Marriott International has collaborated with the Yao Foundation to donate a total of 11 Hope Primary schools (including 9 Hope Primary Schools and 2 Xiaoping laboratories), and supporting youths in rural areas to participate in the basketball season activities of Yao Foundation Hope Primary School to experience the joy of sports. The Yao Foundation Hopes Primary school basketball season has covered over 3,000 schools from 30 provinces across the country, and nearly 3.72 million youths in rural areas are benefit from it.

This annual Marriott Charity Golf tournament has developed into an absolute highlight and must-attend event for all golf-enthusiasts, which is jointly hosted by over 50 Marriott International hotels from East China covering 18 brands. All participants were served authentic and well-crafted food concepts throughout the entire course. With over 20 different Marriott branded hotels, each showcasing creativity and craftsmanship providing our‘signature’ culinary journey a few hoped would never end.
