近日，坐落于世界第三、中国第一高楼，被誉为 “上海之巅” 的上海中心大厦的顶端的上海中心J酒店荣获由国际金融公司（International Finance Corporation, IFC）颁发的EDGE标准认证绿色建筑认证。这是继LEED铂金级绿色建筑认证及全国首家通过“酒店可持续发展基准”（Hotel Sustainability Basics, HSB）12项基准验证之后，酒店在可持续发展实践中的又一里程碑。
EDGE 绿色建筑认证（Excellencein Design for Greater Efficiency）是世界银行集团的成员--国际金融公司（IFC）为推进全球可持续发展而出资建立的绿色建筑标准项目，覆盖建筑物生命周期的每个阶段，已在全球100 多个国家的多个行业领域广泛应用。此次认证充分肯定了上海中心J酒店的努力，自开业以来，酒店不断探索与实践绿色节能的新路径。面对超高层建筑的特殊挑战，酒店通过一系列创新举措，利用高效的供暖制冷系统以及优化的节水措施，有效降低能耗和碳排放。在节能、节水和材料效率方面均达到了EDGE认证的标准，相比基准模型，每年运营减少碳排放375.62吨，展现了其在绿色建筑实践和性能方面的卓越表现。

Recently, J Hotel Shanghai Tower, located at the top of Shanghai Tower, the third-tallest building in the world and the tallest in China, known as the ‘Highest Point of Shanghai’, has been awarded the EDGE Green Building Certification by the International Finance Corporation (IFC). This marks another milestone in the hotel's sustainable development practices, following its LEED Platinum Green Building Certification and its distinction as the first hotel in the country to meet all 12 benchmarks of the Hotel Sustainability Basics (HSB).
The EDGE Certification (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiency) is a green building standard project established by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, to promote global sustainable development. It covers every stage of a building's lifecycle and has been widely applied in over 100 countries across various industries. This certification fully recognizes the efforts of J Hotel Shanghai Tower, which has been continuously exploring and implementing new energy-saving and eco-friendly practices since its opening. Facing the unique challenges of a supertall building, the hotel has implemented a series of innovative measures, including the use of efficient heating and cooling systems and optimized water-saving measures, effectively reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. In terms of energy savings, water efficiency, and material optimization, the hotel has met EDGE certification standards, reducing annual carbon emissions by 375.62 tons compared to the benchmark model, demonstrating outstanding performance in green building practices and sustainability.
