120-metre cake from Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou in Supporting Charity Organisation

福州泰禾凯宾斯基酒店120米蛋糕慈善义卖，捐助福建省简单助学公益协会

To celebrate the 120-year anniversary of Kempinski Group, Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou created a cake of 120 m for charity sales at the shopping mall on 8 April.

Master Pastry Chef Evan Wang led his team and spent three days completing this masterpiece, using 420 kg flour, 150 kg cream, 120 kg egg, 45 kg chocolate, 35 kg mango, 35 kg strawberries, 40 kg sugar, 20 kg milk and 20 kg butter.The proceeds will be donated to the children in Fujian’s depressed area for further education and life support, through the Fujian Simple Student-aiding Public Welfare Association.

Actually, this is the second time that the hotel has supported Simple Student-aiding. In 2016, last year, the hotel organised a charity auction on 22 October with Fujian Adidas Company, collecting a donation of RMB 42,731 in total.Mr Carsten Wiegandt, General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Fuzhou, said, “It is our great honour to host this meaningful event to support our society and the children in need.”

2017年4月8日下午，福州泰禾凯宾斯基酒店制作了长达120米的水果蛋糕，在东二环泰禾广场进行现场慈善义卖。壮观的120米蛋糕由酒店饼房8人团队花费3天时间制作，消耗了面粉420公斤，鲜奶油150公斤，鸡蛋120公斤，巧克力45公斤，鲜芒果35公斤，草莓35公斤，白糖40公斤，牛奶20公斤，黄油20公斤。此次蛋糕义卖所获得的利润将全数捐予福建省简单助学公益协会，用以帮助福建省农村山区的孩子，为他们提供一定的教育支持、生活保障和关怀陪伴。

而此次也是福州泰禾凯宾斯基酒店第二次与简单助学合作。2016年10月22日，福州泰禾凯宾斯基酒店曾与香港爱迪达采购有限公司福州代表处联合组织的义卖活动，现场共筹集了42,731元的善款，全数捐予简单助学。福州泰禾凯宾斯基酒店总经理凯伟德先生表示，凯宾斯基集团成立120年来，一直致力于履行企业社会责任，奉献自己的爱心。此次也很高兴能再次通过福建省简单助学，以我们的绵薄之力帮助有需要的小朋友。
